Russian companies will have to hire temporary workers by the new rules

The controversial draft law which was originally proposed to prohibit “borrowing” labor force from other companies was approved in the second reading, but its text significantly differs from what was originally proposed in 2011. Companies will be allowed to hire temporary workers, but for no longer than 9 months. If the number of such employers exceeds 10% of the staff, companies will need a labor union’s approval for that.

The Ministry of Finance has published a new report on condition of the audit market in Russia in 2012. During the last year the number of auditors significantly decreased from 26.8 to 24.1 thousand people. The number of audit companies with a right to provide audit services decreased from 5.2 to 4.8 thousand. The number of individual auditors is now 900 instead of former one thousand.
