Banks in Russia will tell who influences their decisions
In order to further participate in the deposit insurance system banks which attract funds from private citizens of Russia will have to disclose all information on parties directly or indirectly influencing decisions of their top governance. Minfin of Russia restricts foreign capital in the banking system
The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has prepared a bill to restrict foreign participation in chartered capital of Russian banks at 50% at most. Such amendments are proposed to the 18th sect. of the federal law “On banks and banking business”.
