MICEX struggles with “excessively active” trade bots
Yesterday the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) announced that starting from 27 June it would start to block excessively active trade bots because actions taken by automated systems sometimes impose threat to normal course of trading. Sounds good, but the danger here is that this initiative may isolate not only automated systems, but ordinary traders as well.

Government consults on the terms of the new 2013 regime
The Government is to introduce a new, 10%, tax regime for income from patents which will begin in April 2013. SEC Announces Steps to Address One-Year Effective Date of Title VII of Dodd-Frank Act
The Securities and Exchange Commission today said it is taking a series of actions in the coming weeks to clarify the requirements that will apply to security-based swap transactions as of July 16 – the effective date of Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act – and to provide appropriate temporary relief.
