EFRAG’s DP on separate financial accountancy
The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), Spanish Instituto de Contabilidad y Auditoría de Cuentas (ICAC), Italian Organismo Italiano di Contabilità (OIC), and Dutch Raad voor de Jaarverslaggeving (RJ) have issued a joint discussion paper on the subject of separate financial accountancy.
The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued a draft version of Taxonomy for American accounting standards for the next year 2015. Consultations will last until the end of October.
Arthur Andersen may get back to business
The scandalously known audit company Arthur Andersen (ex-auditor of Enron and until 2002 – one of the “Big Five” global auditors together with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young and KPMG) may get back to business. FASB presents new going concern guidance
