The first official Russian edition of International standards of auditing and the IFAC Code of Ethics will be published in October 2000 by ICAR. It will be released on 26 October 2000 at the President Hotel where Russian and international audit experts will gather for the first All Russia International Audit Conference.
On October 26, in Moscow, at the President Hotel, the All-Russian Conference on International Audit Standards will be held to launch the official Russian translation of the International Auditing Standards and IFAC Code of Ethics.
The objective of the Conference is to present the first official Russian translation of the International Standards of Auditing and the IFAC Code of Ethics, discuss the current issues and developments of the Russian audit profession, and provide participants with up to date professional news and publications.
The participants of the Conference will be:
- Russian and international experts in accounting, audit, consulting and law,
- Regulatory agencies and Russian State Duma represnetatives,
- Representatives of academic and educational organisations,
- Russian and international accountancy education professionals,
- Representatives of professional associations of accountants and auditors,
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided at the seminar and all participants will receive a copy of the International Auditing Standards in Russian free of charge.
